February 3-7 > ScopeFebruary 3-6, 2020. Research school on PDE and probability for biology This Research School is primarily intended for PhD students and early career researchers interested in mathematical modeling for biology. The aim is to present notions and tools from the fields of partial differential equations, probability and statistics, motivated by issues from life science. It also aims at showing links between these three approaches and reinforce interactions between communities. During this Winter School, a special focus will be set on cell growth and cell dispersal, as well as piecewise deterministic type models. The lectures will be complemented by shorter presentations and poster sessions, following a call for abstracts. For registration, please visit the CIRM website https://conferences.cirm-math.fr/2301.html If you are interested by the whole thematic month, you will find a presentation here: https://conferences.cirm-math.fr/2141.html A call for abstract is open for short talks and posters. All participants are encouraged to answer this call. A short number of scholarships that will (partially or totally) cover meals and accommodations will be proposed for participants who will present a poster or give a short talk. To apply, send an abstract and a title (one page max in a PDF file) to mathsbiomonth-week1@sciencesconf.org before november 15th. Important dates:
